  • Round trip transfers (with prior reservation).

Transportation:

Cocotal Golf and Country Club will provide free transfers to the golf course from Meliá & Paradisus hotels.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

No Show Policy:

Clients are expected to be at the golf course and ready to tee off ten (10) minutes prior to their tee time. It is the responsibility of the client and not that of the golf course, hotel or any other source or entity to ensure that the client is at the golf course and ready to tee off ten (10) minutes prior to their scheduled tee time. If for any reason the client does not show up for the tee time the client agrees to forfeit any and all right to claim a refund for the charged amount of money including all fees, exchange rate fees, etc. That would apply to any charge related to this transaction.

No Show Rain Day:

It is the client’s responsibility to communicate directly with the golf course to make arrangements for days that it rains. The golf course and the golf reservation center are not responsible for receiving, changing or working with the hotel or hotel employees to pass information for clients regarding altering their reservation. Client agrees that they will waive any right to a refund if they are not able to produce a document in writing from the golf reservation center documenting a change. Accepting the terms of this agreement is also an acceptance of the terms and conditions of Cocotal Golf and Country Club including the rain check policy. Cancellation Policy:

The client may cancel their tee time twenty-four (24) hours in advance. The client will be refunded the complete charge. It is the sole responsibility of the client to obtain a cancellation confirmation number. Without this cancellation confirmation number, the tee time reservation is considered valid. Cancellation confirmation numbers are time stamped. It is the responsibility of the client to notify Cocotal Golf and Country Club twenty-four (24) hours before the tee time is scheduled to cancel a reservation. Notification may be given by info.cocotalgolf@melia.com  between the hours of 7am est and 5pm est. Cancellation requests made outside normal business hours will be handled on the next business day.

Refunds Policy:

All sales are final. Refunds are only available when reservation is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance by email at info.cocotalgolf@melia.com No refunds will be provided for any other type of cancellation.  Cancellations are only accepted via email.

Dress Code:

Proper golf dress code is required – no jeans are allowed at the golf course.  Golf shirts with collars are required for men, shorts are allowed with a proper length.

Agreement:

This form is an agreement between the client and Cocotal Golf and Country Club. The purpose of this agreement is to confirm a tee time and pay for the cart fee at Cocotal Golf and Country Club. It is the client’s responsibility to confirm their tee time. Tee times are confirmed by email and sent from a Cocotal Golf and Country Club representative. Without this confirmation email and the confirmation number associated with each transaction the client has no right to a tee time.

Regulations

ALL PLAYERS MUST:

  • Register in the Pro shop at least 10 minutes before scheduled tee time.
  • Wear appropriate Golf attire (collared shirts) and shoes (no metal spikes). Please refrain from denim, sweat pants, cut off T-shirts or bathing suits.
  • Dress code applies to all golfers, as well as to caddies and any visitors accompanying golfers.

GENERAL

  • The minimum age to operate a Golf cart is 16 years.
  • Riders must pay for their portion of the cart, without exception (including children).
  • Each player must have their own clubs, sharing is not permitted.
  • Cocotal Golf Club is not responsible for the loss or damage of any items of value (such as watches, rings, wallets, cell phones, sunglasses, etc.) left in carts, practice range, pro-shop, bag storage or golf course.
  • A maximum of two people may ride in a golf cart at one time.
  • Groups may not be larger than five players, except in tournaments organized by the club
  • All players and/or groups of players must follow the numeric order of the holes.

Staff are authorized to approach players and visitors who do not adhere to these regulations.

Rain Check Policy

Rain checks will be issued when:

  • The course is closed due to inclement weather when you are scheduled to tee off and you have paid in advance.
  • It is raining, and you have not teed off, but already paid and checked in.
  • Inclement weather lasting more than 30 minutes interrupts your round.

Rain checks will not be issued when:

  • It is raining, and you choose to tee off.
  • An intermittent or passing shower occurs.

18-hole rounds:

  • If you have played less than 9 holes, a 18-hole rain check will be issued.
  • If you have played more than 9 holes, a 9-hole rain check will be issued.
  • If you have completed your round, your round will be deemed complete and no rain check will be issued.

9-hole rounds:

  • If you have played less than 9 holes, a 9-hole rain check will be issued.
  • If you have completed your 9-hole round, your round will be deemed complete and no rain check will be issued.
